Maarg is a citizen engagement platform that enables users to report footpath encroachments and violations via WhatsApp. Reports are processed, categorized using AI, and escalated to relevant authorities.

3. User Responsibilities

When using Maarg, you agree to:

  • Submit only genuine reports of footpath issues
  • Provide accurate location information
  • Not submit inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Not misuse the Service for harassment or false reporting
  • Respect the privacy of others when capturing photos

4. Content Guidelines

Photos submitted through Maarg should:

  • Clearly show the footpath issue being reported
  • Not contain inappropriate or offensive content
  • Not include identifiable faces of individuals without consent
  • Be original photos taken by the reporter

5. Public Sharing

By submitting a report, you acknowledge that:

  • Your photos and location may be shared with municipal authorities
  • Your photos may be posted on public social media for escalation
  • Your reports may appear on our public dashboard (anonymized)

6. Disclaimer

Maarg is a volunteer-driven initiative. We do not guarantee:

  • Resolution of reported issues by authorities
  • Response times from municipal bodies
  • Availability of the Service at all times

We are not responsible for any actions taken or not taken by municipal authorities.

7. Intellectual Property

By submitting content to Maarg, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and share your content for the purposes of operating the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to block or terminate access to the Service for users who violate these terms or misuse the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
